About
The Lifecycle Finder is designed to help nonprofit leaders identify the current stage of their organization’s development. Every nonprofit moves through seasons of growth and change. The challenges, opportunities, and strategic needs of an organization often shift significantly depending on where it sits within its lifecycle. What supports a Seed Stage organization may not serve a mature organization preparing for transition. Likewise, strategies designed for rapid growth may create unnecessary strain for organizations still building foundational clarity. The purpose of the Lifecycle Finder is to help leaders better understand where their organization is today so they can access the most relevant tools, guidance, and resources for the season they are actually in. The Lifecycle Finder explores five core nonprofit stages: Seed Start-Up Growth Maturity Transition Through a guided evaluation process, organizations reflect on areas such as structure, leadership, governance, funding, staffing, systems, sustainability, and organizational capacity.
